29 NOVEMBER: LOW-STIMULUS MUSEUM DAY
If you quickly feel overstimulated or fatigued, visiting a museum can be challenging. That’s why the War Museum is organizing a low-stimulus morning on Saturday, 29 November.
The museum will be open with reduced stimuli from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on this day.
What to expect:
- Partial opening outside regular hours (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM);
- Guest flow management at entry and a limit on the number of visitors;
- Reduced noise and fewer flashing images;
- Introductory video available with headphones upon request;
- Videos shown without sound and with English subtitles;
- Adjusted lighting plan;
- D-DEX exhibit accessible without videos, sounds, effects, and with work lighting on;
- Portable museum stools available to take with you;
- Quiet room for a peaceful break;
- Several hosts available for questions and assistance;
- Museum café open in a low-stimulus way.
