Visiting a museum can be challenging if you are easily overstimulated or fatigued. That’s why Oorlogsmuseum Overloon is organizing a low-stimuli morning.
On Saturday, March 15, the museum will be open from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in a low-stimuli setting. Advance reservation is required!
What does a visit on March 15 entail?
- Special opening hours (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM);
- Limited number of visitors and staggered entry;
- Reduced sounds and fewer flashing images;
- Introductory video available with headphones if desired;
- Videos played without sound and with English subtitles;
- Adjusted lighting throughout the museum;
- D-DEX experience available without videos, sound, effects, and with working lights on;
- Portable museum stools to take along during your visit;
- A quiet space to sit and relax;
- Multiple hosts and hostesses available for assistance;
- Museum café open in a low-stimuli setting.
- No dogs allowed, except for assistance dogs.

MUSEUM CAFÉ
The museum café will also be open from 9:00 AM. You can even reserve a breakfast (€6,50 per person) to enjoy before or during your museum visit. The café will be arranged to minimize stimuli typically experienced in dining environments.
