Leichter Raupenschlepper Famo Boxer
The company Famo (Breslau/Wroclaw) owned about 50 per cent of the market share in the manufacture of crawler tractors. The crawler tractor Boxer was originally designed for deployment in agriculture and forestry, as well as industry and the construction sector. During the war the Boxer was also available with a unit wooden carburettor, and then it received a greater engine size to balance out any power loss. Among others, it was used as a tractor for trailers, road-paving equipment, aeroplanes in engineering battalions in the army and Luftwaffe, airbase units of the Luftwaffe, and in the Reichsarbeitsdienst.
