VW KdF Typ 82e

The KdF Type 82E was a military variant of the Volkswagen Beetle, developed during World War II. This vehicle was based on the chassis of the Kübelwagen (Type 82) and went into production in 1941. The Type 82E was primarily used as a personnel vehicle for German military and government officials. In contrast to the open Kübelwagen, the Type 82E had a closed body that resembled the civilian Volkswagen Beetle more closely. The vehicle was equipped with an air-cooled 4-cylinder boxer engine.
