Overloon War Museum is looking for a new children's director

In addition to the 'big' director, War Museum Overloon has also had a children's director since November 2022. After a period of one and a half years, the current children's director, Liam Spikmans (15 years old) from Eindhoven, hands over the baton to the next candidate. The search has now started and is intended for children and young people who care about the museum and want to bring the museum to the attention of their peers as ambassadors. By appointing a children's director, the museum wants to connect even more and better with the younger target group.

Call!
This call is for young people between 10 and 16 years old with an interest in the Second World War who would like to make a difference. Overloon War Museum is looking for an enthusiastic children's director who wants to put his or her best foot forward and inspire peers for one year.
What does a children's director do? Naturally, the children's director will attend a number of meetings and visit all departments (front and behind the scenes) to get to know the museum better. You can also think about new activities during holidays in and around the museum and the director can give advice on how the museum can improve when it comes to child friendliness.

As an ambassador of the museum, the children's director is occasionally put in the spotlight to promote the museum. And if possible, connections are also made with the school class, because they are allowed to visit so that the children's director can show all classmates around his or her own museum.
