This autumn holiday is the perfect time to visit the largest war museum in the Netherlands and discover the history of the Second World War. The programme is packed with extra activities. Come explore, learn, and experience – there is something to do every day.

Free Guided Tour - Daily at 1:00 PM. Hear the stories behind the most remarkable objects and vehicles in the collection (approx. 1 hour).
Weekly activities

Monday - Veterans Q&A Hour, in the military hall (near the C47 Skytrain), a veteran is ready to answer all your questions. You may even ask him to hand you his helmet – and you can try it on yourself, along with the flak vest. How many push-ups can you do wearing it?
Every Monday from 13:00 to 14:30. -
Tuesday - Lecture: In the service of the SS. Listen to the gripping story of Jacques, who tells about his uncle Gérard and his decision to join the Waffen-SS.
Every Tuesday at 12:00 and 14:00 (approx. 20 minutes & Dutch spoken). -
Wednesday - Mission D-DEX, the great D-Day quiz. Test your knowledge about D-Day. Join alone, as a team, family, or couple, and compete for a great prize package. Tip: visit the D-DEX experience first!
Every Wednesday at 12:00 and 14:00. -
Thursday - Open Car Park & Frontline talks. Climb in and onto a number of our historic vehicles, such as the Nekaf jeep, Weasel, Centurion tank, and the impressive BARC. From 12:00 to 15:00.
Plus: Frontline talks with the veteran, from 13:00 to 14:30. -
Friday - Weapons day. Did you know the museum has an enormous weapons collection? On Weapons Day you get a unique chance to learn all about it. Our firearms team will explain everything about weapons used during WWII. Can you recognise them without help?
Every Friday from 12:00 to 15:00. -
Saturday - Vehicle opening. A rare opportunity to take a look inside a historic vehicle.
Every Saturday from 12:00 to 15:00. -
Sunday - Mini mission: Take the wheel. Get behind the wheel of the Nekaf jeep, Weasel, and Centurion tank.

Oorlogsmuseum Overloon is a Kidsproof museum! There's always plenty for children to see and do in the museum, such as a treasure hunt with a small surprise (available at the reception), playing in the woods and playground, and enjoying hot chocolate, toasted sandwiches, and fries in the museum café.
